Bose announced the second generation ipod SoundDock music system called the Series II. This is the first SoundDock system certified for use with the iPhone. This new Soundock looks only slightly different than its predecessors it adds capabilities for both the original iPhone and 3g model without asking you to put them in airplane mode.

The SoundDock Series II has a new feature that is an auxillary input allowing you to connect other cd payers, music phones, and mp3 payers to the Soundock. The Series II will charge both iPhones and iPods alike and includes a remote control for navigating music.

The SoundDock Series II accepts all iPods and iPhones and comes in glossy block only for $299. The original SoundDocks are still available and come in both black and white finishes.
